Baby's Grasp

Is surrogacy right for you?

Michelle's surrogacy journey

It’s my mission to share the magic of what I’ve been through with as many people as possible!

When I wanted a third baby, my husband wasn’t on the same page. At the time, a friend had just delivered a baby for another family – as a surrogate. I thought it was a little weird but also beautiful in an unexpected way.

Fast forward…I researched my options and ended up carrying a child for absolutely fantastic people.  I’ll cherish them forever.

We now exchange holiday cards and get together when possible (which is not too much, and just enough). We trade kid photos and parenting advice. It’s almost like I have another set of grandparents for my own kids!

My experience was empowering and meaningful.  My new goal is to spread the word about this miracle. The overall magic overwhelmed me, and I felt sad that so many people I spoke with had never considered it as an option (let’s face it… we’ve heard of it, but surrogacy isn’t something we talk about regularly).
